It's not easy being, yellow?

Ok, so for some reason, my lovely child has decided to boycott all foods yellow. That's right. Pineapple, no thanks. Bananas, nein. Mango, corn...all a big fat negative. Or is it? She has begun saying no for everything. Mackenzie, do you want some strawberries? NO! Do you want to go outside? NO! Do you want to read a book, watch TV, have a pizza, go for a stroller, (insert favorite activity here). NO! Do you want a new toy? Wait a minute...this may actually work in my favor. But I digress.

I know she really doesn't want any of this disgusting "yellow" food because after she puts it in her mouth, and thoroughly chews, she hands it to me in a big slobbery mess and says, "all done". Oh the joys of motherhood. At least it's not a booger, right? Not yet anyway!

So what to do? Well, she likes all other fruits (today anyway) so we'll just go with that. I've been told by our pediatrician that at the age of 2 she'll desire only beige foods. BEIGE! That should be fun. So for now, I'll enjoy her colorful plate and wait for the day where bread and mashed potatoes are the bomb diggity!

Peace and love,

Favorite site for all things baby

Just a quick note to tell you about my favorite site for baby stuff. If you haven't purchased anything from: www.onestepahead.com yet, you are missing out. We have purchased everything from swim diapers to art work holders and have been impressed with it all. The quality is good, it lasts, and everything is super cute. We have been using the bath seat we purchased from there ever since the princess outgrew her baby bathtub and are in love with it.

Sending love...and a full nights sleep.

Working Mom's Zen

Ok, let's get serious. I am a working mom and I need some HELP!! I have looked at countless mom blogs and they are all SAHM. Yes, I know, that is work! Trust me, I value what you do everyday, but I need some help over here with working full time outside of my home, having a toddler, juggling dinner, swim lessons, household chores, and my own "me" time. Honestly, I have no idea what that even is. So, I have started THIS blog for those of us who aren't home with the little one's all day and can't master the state of constant multitasking. HA!

So, check this site out for family friendly San Diego options that have been tried and tested by US. Random rants and raves. Problems solved and unsolved as well as questions from others. And if you need a male perspective, yes, I have a husband. Let me know and I'll ask him. Until then...
